Broad Legal Experience to Handle All Court of Common Pleas Matters
When you're selecting a judge, it is important to consider experience. A judge for the Summit County Court of Common Pleas will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of legal matters. A judge needs to be more than an average lawyer; a judge should have a distinguished legal record.
As an attorney, Tom Parker has received the highest rating from a national peer-review process. His legal practice has been very broad, touching upon virtually every type of case that would come before him as a judge, including everything from criminal cases to personal injury to business litigation. Additionally, he has experience on the bench, serving as a substitute magistrate in the Akron Municipal Court.
Tom Parker is Police Endorsed!
Tom Parker is endorsed in this race by the Summit County Deputies Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #139. This decision was reached because of Tom's "knowledge of the criminal justice system and support for the law enforcement community."
Experience Across Ohio and the Nation
Tom Parker has handled cases in the before the courts of 20 different states. As a potential voter, this may matter to you for two reasons.
First, these experiences have provided him with broad exposure to a variety of judges and courtroom proceedings. He can bring the best from each of these venues to the Summit County Common Pleas bench.
Additionally, though, this travel shows his strength as a lawyer. Highly qualified attorneys reside in every judicial district in the country; the fact that his clients routinely request his representation across the nation shows how much they value his legal counsel.
Lifelong Northeast Ohio Resident Involved in the Local Community

Prior to law school, he graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
